This DDAA – Recovery-to-Work Community of Practice webinar focused on the current status of opioid settlement funds nationwide and how those funds may be used to support recovery to work efforts in Appalachia. Tricia Christensen, Director of Policy at Community Education Group, provided an overview of opioid settlements, how different states are structuring their funds, and how communities can use the funds to support recovery to work efforts. Participants will gain a better understanding of approved uses of opioid settlement funds and the best starting point for coordinating with states and regions about their plans for the funds.
