An incentive program that provides tax credits to businesses or private companies investing in rehabilitating, expanding, or improving buildings or land located within designated enterprise zones. Its objective is to encourage private companies to improve buildings and land located within enterprise zones. Tax credits equal 25% of amount invested; Up to $500,000 total tax credits per project. There are five components to this Act: the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) tax credit, Special Program Priorities (SPP), Neighborhood Partnership Program (NPP), Charitable Food Program (CFP), and the Enterprise Zone Program (EZP) tax credit.
Eligible Recipients Detail:
Private for-profit companies including agricultural, industrial, manufacturing, or research and development enterprises within Pennsylvania are eligible to apply.

Eligible Purpose Detail:
Real property improvements such as rehab, expansion, physical improvements to buildings or land, or engineering or architecture services resulting in jobs created or retained.
Credits received and not used may be carried forward for up to five years. Credits may be sold or transferred. Please refer to the EZP Guidelines.
