Map Description:

This interactive map uses a combination of FCC Form 477 data and Internet Service Provider data to show Census Blocks with at least 25+, 10-24.99, 3-9.99 and Less than 3 Mbps download speeds. Data is available by provider and technology type.

Coverage Definition:

Unless direct provider confirmation is available, a Census Block has Broadband Coverage if at least one Internet Service Provider is “providing [broadband] or could …without an extraordinary commitment of resources provide broadband service to an area.”

Collection Method:

Access data are retrieved from internet providers and the Federal Communications Commission's Form 477. Data from providers may be current up to March 31, 2020. Data from the Form 477 may be current up to June 30, 2019. Mobile data are from December 31, 2016.
