Map Description:

The North Carolina Broadband Planning Dashboard provides state residents with a map of Census Block-level data on broadband availability and quality, including data on Great Grant and RDOF-related projects to provide terrestrial and satellite service to unserved areas. Organizations can utilize this map to identify unserved areas that are both receiving and in need of support to extend broadband infrastructure.

Coverage Definition:

A Census Block has Broadband Coverage if at least one Internet Service Provider is “providing [broadband] or could …without an extraordinary commitment of resources provide broadband service to an area.”
